Low-threshold measures – big impact – few resources: It's possible!

We have contributed to developing and rolling out Nabotrimmen – a low-threshold initiative where neighbours exercise together – right outside their own front door. Today, Nabotrimmen has been rolled out in five housing cooperatives in Bodø, strengthening both balance and neighbourship. -
WHO's summer school promoting healthy ageing
Manuela Aguirre spent part of the summer in Nice doing the World Health Organization's summer school in Systems Thinking & Innovation working in-depth on areas like heart-disease, diabetes and dementia.

Fabric+ secures funding to prevent worksite falls

With support from the Design-Driven Innovation Program (DIP) by Design og arkitektur Norge, we are using design-driven innovation to explore ways to reduce the costs associated with falls on construction sites, especially during winter. Shared insights on creating age-friendly winter routes

Mapping experiences and solutions for active ageing in the North Atlantic

In collaboration with the Center for Public Health in Greenland, we led a workshop to explore experiences and innovative solutions that promote active ageing across the North Atlantic region. The event brought together dedicated experts and stakeholders from Norway, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, as well as Sweden and Finland. It was part of the "Ageing in an Accessible Arctic" initiative, supported by Nordic Atlantic Cooperation.

Universal design on winter environments with KS
